Over the years pillow boxes have been decorated, and altered into all types of animals, shapes, and even ornaments. I thought I would make acorns from my medium sized kraft SRM pillow boxes.
I started with a few leaves and an acorn top cut with my Silhouette Cameo, SRM planner stickers, and a leaf die from Richard Garay
Trim the bottom of the pillow box into an acorn shape, I used a pencil to draw my shape and hand trimmed the boxes, then used a strong adhesive to close the bottom.
Stamp the word fall in versamark ink and emboss.
Close the top, and add the acorn top and embellish!
I inked the edges of the leaves, and used a wink of stella pen to add a bit of shimmer!
A pretty place setting, or gift card holder for someone who loves all things pumpkin spice season! :)
This was one of the most enjoyable little projects I've made in a while!
