November Crafty secrets linky party and a tassel tutorial

If you have hopped here from Diane's Hi and welcome to the November edition of the Crafty secrets Linky party. This month our challenge was to make anything but a card with the prompt  "visions of sugarplums" isn't that just the sweetest saying?
When I was little I thought sugarplums were the sugar covered gumdrop candies, (that I didn't like) and wondered why anyone would have such sticky visions! Fast forward to the age of the "google" and I looked it up to learn that sugarplums were a candy that was quite complex to create and therefore a luxury item. Now that I can understand!
Dreaming of treasures rare and sweet, what conjures up the idea of Christmas wishes more than that?

For the challenge I embellished a decadent scented candle, with velvet ribbon, a handmade tassel and of course jingly bells! A classic Santa image serves as a tag and was cut from the  Crafty secrets seasonal vintage image book . I inked the edge in blue and attached it to the bow. The ticket was cut from a tags page found on the Vintage Christmas CD filled with tons of Christmas images to print! Now let me show you how I made that tassel!

Embellish and enjoy!
Now its your turn to play along! for all of the details and to get started on the hop visit the Crafty secrets blog
