Bewitching Brew

Autumn is inching ever nearer even as we are reveling in long summer days filled with summertime joys. I'm not one to push the seasons before they are fully enjoyed, but I do like to look ahead! Maybe its all the magazine work I've done or the years in retail that instilled the "it will be here before you know it" in me!  Or maybe I just love getting a jump start on all the good stuff to come!  :)

Halloween, will sneak up on us so lets get started soon by making cute cards like this one using a crafty secrets vintage pumpkin image!  The booklet this image is from is full of sweet and spooky images and journaling tags! I used up bits and pieces of my scrap and lace stash, and made good use of my nestabilities die to frame the image.

A bit of stitching is always fun, and as a bonus Halloween cards lend themselves to throw perfection out the window and add a bit of distressed character when and wherever you can!
be sure to visit the crafty secrets store and stock up on Halloween papers, booklets, and stamps to whip up a brew of invitations, home decor projects or scrapbook pages!

It's not too early, so happy creating my creative friends~ Shantaie

The more I see of your work, the more I realize how amazing you are! I love, love, love this sweet little card with its glittery frame, sweet stitching and vintage button. It's vintage fresh, and I just love it! Hugs!
