Simple Sunday

Let me start by saying I do not "do" clean and simple cards....as if I need to tell you that *giggle* I know what you are thinking  "that's an understatement of epic proportions!" Really its not that I don't like them. I actually love a well done clean card, I'm just not talented that way. But you know sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone and push yourself to grow.
I was inspired by a blog I stumbled across while doing a little blog surfing called appropriately enough clean and simple stamping. There is a weekly sketch to give a try and I just can't resist a good sketch!  I borrowed the white stamped flowers lined with copics idea from Nichole Heady of papertrey ink  love the way that pops!

I'm actually nervous about sharing this card, it feels all wrong....
I will keep trying, I will grow, I may never be as fabulous as some of my favorite clean stampers, but I will enjoy this journey on an unfamiliar road! I hope you have a beautiful Sunday, Happy creating~

This is simply elegant! (Hey, that would be a good name for a blog, huh?) I had to scroll back up to make sure I was at the right blog; then I read your post. Woot woot for you! Your talent is so versatile. Beautifully done, Shantaie! I'm so glad you shared this little beauty.

It's terrific - I used the Copic trick for edging one of my Cricut cuts on Kraft paper too. It worked great - and simple looks lovely when you are at the helm!!!
