The Birds Song

I'm not fond of making sympathy cards, I wish we did not have the need for them. This has always been the way of nature, so we must face the unhappy days with as much passion as we do the days of celebration. This card is quite overdue actually, as I have not wanted to tackle it..but I'm happy I did.
I was inspired by this weeks mojo Monday sketch 188 to do a round card with lots of layers and flowers. The papers are from Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden...and I have such a hard time cutting them because they are so beautiful....have you ever felt that way? I'm like a little kid with a crisp dollar bill, I want to buy something but I do not want to give up that perfect crunchy dollar!!  LOL

This precious bird stamp is from Stampin'Up! the set is called Spring Song, I stamped it with stazon and colored it with prisma pencils, and blended the color with OMS and a blending stump. All the shapes were cut on my cricut E2, with the exception of the leaf die that is a sizzix sizzlet.

This is stunning, Shantaie. I have 4 sympathy cards to make myself right now. They are so hard to make, but I am glad yours was completed…it is absolutely lovely.

Oh my....that's a beauty...all that pretty stuff in a wee circle. The person receiving this will surely feel blessed receiving this.

Shantaie, just beautiful. I too, have a hard time cutting up beautiful papers. But the end results is that the paper has been enhanced, and become works of art.
