Happy Thoughts

How much do you love that sentiment? If you think about it, nothing has ever been more true! My youngest daughter told me the other day that she doesn't like me being so busy, a rare nugget of open communication from my little girl who is growing up at the speed of light. After much honest and ever so insightful discussion, it became clear that what she really was trying to say is that she misses me, what a happy thought! What a lucky Mom I am to know that my teen wants me around more often, that is what  makes my days!

If you have been here before, you are probably picking yourself up off of the floor because I used purple!
I couldn't very well make shimmery pink plums, so I opted to make peace with my anti purple policy. I will not lie to you............ the rich razzelberry from Stampin'Up! is really, really growing on me! Of course it helped that I {heart} these Cosmo Cricket pixie-liciuos papers.....its just a fun word  "pixie-licious"!

These pretty plums were cut with the cricut expression using the preserves cartridge...I have a thing for fruit so I LOVE this cartridge, do you??? The darker plum was painted with smooch chocolate cherry, its shimmery and dimensional in person.

Oh my I almost forgot to mention that I used the mojo Monday sketch 179 for this card....I did take a few forks in the road with this sketch, but hello, I'm a self proclaimed  crafty rule breaker...its what I do!!!!

Have happy thoughts, and a happy day~
