Congrats You Did it!

I love pairing my favorite craft room tools to create a card, in this case my Silhouette cameo, SRM stickers and bright enamel dots.

My nephew is graduating and such a festive and memorable occasion should be celebrated in a big way! I chose bug bold colors and bold graphics to make a happy statement.

I know papercrafting is a specialized interest, and one I share with so many other artists, and I appreciate you stopping in to see what I've been making! XOXO Shantaie

Thank you sweet friend

Hello sweet friends! I'm wrapped in a warm layer of happiness and joy these days. The first weeks of a new year are always a time of reflection for me, my home, my life, my work, and how grateful I am for the people in my world! I tend to redecorate and declutter post holidays, but this week I just want to make pretty things! I know I'm not alone!

I needed a special thank you card, and really had fun creating these bouquet clusters, I not a huge fan of masking, but in this case it was worth the effort of all that fussy cutting! I paired the SRM just believe stamp set  with hampton arts layering set  to create my floral clusters.

I filled in with the leafy branch and that sweet little flower, and colored with my copic markers. once dry I colored a layer of shimmer on all of the flowers and leaves.

I knew I wanted a bold sentiment, so I cut three of the word friend with my silhouette cameo in black and glued them together. Little enamel dots in black on the purple flower and a few in white on the blue flowers add so much to this card!

I used a layer of foam to pop up the card front and i love the dimension it adds!! Once the sentiment was in place, I used two SRM stickers to form the phrase "thank you sweet" above friend. My favorite part of using clear stickers is that I can use them in their entirety or snip off sections I LOVE clear stickers!!

I hope this brings a smile, I know I enjoyed taking a bit of time to color and create it!! I may have to rethink masking, the end results are pretty worth it!!

Have a great day, see you next time! XOXO Shantaie
