polka dot happy halloween

I'm still enjoying my quest to infuse each day with a little of the fall season, pumpkin spice lattes, spooky movies, and a dish of multi color candy corn placed dangerously close at hand!

While shuffling through my Halloween sash I unearthed a brand new package of tattered angels Halloween chip tiles just waiting to be transformed. I swiped a layer of orange and red gelatos over my fingertip and rubbed into the chip tiles embossed surface to reveal the image.

black ink was sponged along all the edges,a flag sentiment was created with SRM stickers and all while watching American horror story and doing laundry! It's a good thing I like folding clothes because laundry is a never ending story in my world!

I have two pumpkins to carve so far, I love real pumpkins they are so pretty I always feel bad for cutting into them only to waste them. In Florida it is usually still very hot the week of Halloween so we have to wait until a day or two before trick or treat day to carve, is it the same in colder climates?

I try to remind myself to embrace each day, each season, each moment, I get so caught up in the day to day pressures and to do lists that I do forget that this life is meant to be lived, loved not endured or tolerated!

Happy today to you, XOXO
