Making cards and planning parties are my favorite ways to create, I can't throw a party everyday {despite what Lilly tells me} Cards however are a little easier to create daily.....like miniature canvases, little collections of beautiful objects fused together to make a one entity.
Boy that sounds overly romantic doesn't it? I'm digging in deep for a Monday morning, but I really do love to gather and arrange, its peaceful and rewarding.
So I'm
I just have a few pink copics, and not every shade I needed, so I came up with this fun idea to color the flowers and swipe them every so lightly with white chalk paint! The effect is wispy and soft, and really different. New favorite technique check
I added a bit of yellow flocking to the centers to make them all soft and dreamy. {remember that stuff} yeah..... I have tons of it!
I spotted, splattered, and splashed glimmer mist all over the card in marshmallow, pink taffy and iridescent gold {my favorite} a really reasonable ribbon bow, some SRM twine in buttercream!
{don't you love when products have delicious names like buttercream?} I'm a sucker for genius marketing and beautiful names get me every time! I just connect when something has a fun or fab name!
Thanks for popping in, thanks for looking, reading, and in general for spending your precious time to visit here! I love what I do, and I love that you do too! XOXO Shantaie
