Crafty Secrets February Linky Party

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the crafty world! If you made your way here via the Crafty secrets Love is in the air Linky party I'm so happy you decided to visit!
Welcome to the Crafty Secrets February Linky Party!
This month we're throwing a virtual Valentine Party and you are invited along as our guests of honor!  Create some cute Valentines for friends and family, create a romantic layout, or make “off the page projects”for home d├ęcor. Incorporate music or words to a song somewhere in yourproject.  (Songbirds would work here, too!) You do not need to follow this theme to play along, but it's always fun if you do.
And Guess what?!! Today is also my Birthday! What better way for me to celebrate than to share a Valentine that I created using the Crafty Secrets heart to heart digital stamp set

Lets get to the card details, after all that's why you are here right? :)

I stared by printing out this beautiful red music print paper from the Crafty Secrets Digital Vintage Valentine kit onto copy paper on both sides. I rarely print onto plain paper but I wanted the paper to be thin and saturated with ink for this particular type of flower.

I cut several circles with a sizzix die {ultimately I cut too many but I saved them to my stash to use at a later time} I trimmed the circles in a spiral and rolled them up and scrunched them to make my little roses.

I just could not manage to get a crisp shot of my sentiment with the glitter and the sun battling with each other! It says "within your heart keep one still, secret spot where dreams may go" I think that is such a beautiful idea!  The heart was printed onto white cardstock and trimmed in glass glitter and a few drops of raven glimmer mist were placed randomly. I added glitter to the rolled roses and a few little black leaves to make the hearts stand out from the background.

Now it’s your turn! Visit each of the design team blogs listed below.  Then create a NEW project of your choice featuring ANY Crafty Secrets product and link it up to the blog

This is sooooo chic, Shantaie! I love those rolled roses. I have tried making this "from scratch" several times, but they don't look like yours! LOL The glitter is the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for creating such a classy project for the February Linky Party!
