Thanksgiving Pie To Go A crafty secrets linky party

This months Crafty secrets Linky party challenge is Thanksgiving or Cooking and recipes. Fun right? I don't know about you but when I think of Thanksgiving my mind automatically drifts to pumpkin pie!
Like most families we eat too much turkey and mashed potatoes and always have to wait a while before we can tackle the desserts.  So a to go box all dressed up is going to be the perfect way to send my guests off with a slice of their favorite part of dinner! yummmmmmmo!

I started by printing and cutting a Crafty secrets Thanksgiving  acorn and leaves image with the Silhouette.

I printed the acorns in brown and colored them with copic markers. I built the color up until it had the depth and darkness I wanted.

I cut this cute pie shaped box with the Silhouette from kraft paper, and printed out one of my favorite Thanksgiving collection patterns for the box sides. I also printed a sweet sentiment and made a banner to adorn the box top.

I printed the leaves in orange and cut them about 1/4" along the edges.

Trace the digital stamp design with a viva pearl pen in copper. allow to dry completely.

The pearl pen dries soft and flexible, but shimmery and gorgeous too!!

I added crtstal effects to the tops of the acorns and sprinkled them with clear coarse glitter. To embellish the pie box I added lace, ribbon, and scalloped borders along the back to resemble crust.
I hope you will play along for a chance to win some Crafty secrets goodies, the guidelines are simple.Click here to learn how to join the linky party.

Be sure to visit the Crafty secrets design team to get all filled up on inspiration, they have made some fantastic fall projects a veritable feast for the eyes!

happy Cooking~ Shantaie

OK, so I want the pie box, of course packed with pie. I saw this project a couple of days ago and have obsessed over pumpkin pie ever since. Canadian Thanksgiving is next week so at least I don't have to wait long. This is gorgeous and you'll have guests lining up for a dinner invite.

Hi Shantaie, love your pie box idea and how you used the paint pens with the 3D sparkle. These would be so fun for a Thanksgiving hostess gift and you could fill them with spiced nuts or candy if you don't make pie.

I want to thank you for joining our Design Team and apologize for not leaving more comments as I've been so frantic running things solo except for my shipper in the usa. I adore those wonderful Halloween cards you posted and need to add them to our Pintrest board.

Gratefully, Sandy

This may just be the cutest idea ever, Shantaie! It just says "fall" and "celebration" and mmmm...."pumpkin pie!" You make the most wonderful goodies with Crafty Secret products, and I am thrilled to bits to have you on the team! The acorns, I confess, made my heart go pitty pat...just a little! Fabulous!
