Schoolhouse Treats

If you still need a last minute idea for a special teacher or room mom I thought I would share this gift set I made quite a long time ago for the Cricut circle.  School is almost over for us, and I still have so much to do to get ready for our summer in New York. By the time you read this I will probably be elbow deep in a pair of rubber gloves scrubbing the refrigerator shelves...glamorous thought isn't it?

I saved a four pack of Starbucks frapacinno bottles and the cardboard container, and re-purposed it as a candy caddy, of course you could also fill the bottles with office supplies or any manner of items that suits your needs. Just do your thing! :D

Embossed bands were swiped with chalk inks to make the raised image really pop. Try this with any of your embossing folders, its such a great way to make embossed areas the star of your project!

Thanks for letting me share this recycled {recycled} project!

Are you ready to find out who the winner of the Ribbons and Rosettes Cricut cartridge is?!!

I want you all to know that I enjoyed reading every comment, it was so uplifting. I am so thrilled to learn how each of you gets back on track when you are feeling out of sorts, I'm not surprised to learn that the one thing we all have in common is that its usually a matter of putting things in perspective and calming ourselves that does the trick!Thank you for your honesty and willingness to share. Do we need a drum roll? {imagine hundreds of fingers tapping on desks}..............Congratulations goes to:

That is so cute! My daughter is a teacher and I am always looking for cute things to make her co-teachers.
Love it and you could even use washi tape in place of the bands.

Thanks for sharing!!
