Tea Time Pretty

The chilly weather has finally made its way south and a hot cup of tea sounds like a great idea this morning! I'm typically an ice tea or ice coffee kind of girl, but a warm mug of delicious steaming tea is always a luxurious treat! Can you believe my daughter chose an English tea room for her bridal shower, with the complete afternoon tea experience? For such a trendy girl, she really has a traditional and maybe even and old fashioned spirit! {but don't tell her I said that!} *wink*

I used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch as my springboard for this card, the papers are all from Christmas wish Imagine colors and patterns cartridge, and the tea cup is cut from Love you a latte. I held back on the glitter and added pearls and a cork accent. I love mixing materials that you may not see together in other circumstances....one of the best things about being a crafty rule breaker!!!  :)

Now I'm pretty sure I mentioned a giveaway..... so..........

As you all know I LOVE my Cricut Imagine, and the Christmas wish cartridge is really one of my top picks! {check out pages 82-85 of the January Cricut magazine to see my other projects using this cartridge} I love it so much I want to give one away to one of you! Just leave me a comment with a way to contact you and I will choose a winner on Monday! Good luck everyone!

Gorgeous card! English tea sounds like a fun theme. You might have to go to the Floridian at Disney World for research :D.

I love my Imagine, it's so wonderful to be able to pick just the color I need or cut all the layers for an image with only one piece of paper each layer colored specific to it's need.

It's also fabulous for turning a one-sided paper into two-sided paper :D.

Another beautiful project. I never would have thought to use a "Christmas" cart for the papers. Love the cork too. I have but left over from backing tiles that I just didn't have the heart to throw out..now I know why. Misha_113 at yahoo dot com.
