Good Times

Hello and happy day! I'm still traveling for work and have not been home in 2 weeks, its been HOT and the days are long- I will be so happy to sleep in my own bed in a few days! :)
I have a quick five minute card to share with you today, perfect for those occasions that you need a card on the fly!
By using the Imagine to create the entire card, I had no cutting, no stamping and no fussing to do in order to make a fast and super adorable shaped card! I added layers and glitter, a few vintage buttons and twine and that's all it takes!

If you still have not embraced your Cricut Imagine, or have not taken the leap to get one, i promise you this, it is a great tool that can really take your crafting in a new and wonderful place, get it out of the box plug it in and play! :)
See you soon~ Happy Creating

Splish Splash

Just keep swimming.....such good advice really, even if it did come from a cartoon fish! My summer is in full to the gills work mode, long days- living out of a suitcase, and not much time to be crafty. I managed to make a few extra projects to share with you while I'm out on my traveling journey, like this fish bowl shaped card! This was cut on my Cricut using the Boys will be boys cartridge.

How perfect are these papers from the salt air collection by Cosmo Cricket? *swoon* being a Florida girl I will tell you we see our fair share of  beachy themed everything....but this collection reminds me of my childhood on the beach, the colors and images are spot on! And speaking of spot on, have you discovered SRM stickers yet? OMG!!! I love that extra punch of wordy perfection that is as easy as peel. and. stick! Instant gratification as its finest....and we all love "instant" there is no denying that!  :)

This was the inspiration for the card, I found a package of fish paperclips, and had to have them. I buy embellishments the way some women buy shoes.... I make a project to use the embellishment I fell in love with with the way shoe obsessed ladies buy an outfit to match the shoes! LOL {OK you got me there...I do that too}  *Giggle*

Lets Make Up!

My girls and I recently made a little pit stop at Ulta the ultimate girly girls shopping playground! While the girls sniffed, smudged, and brushed on {every trial in the store *giggle*} I snapped a few pictures with my phone. I think cosmetics are beautiful, not only the rich colors and delicious names...but the packaging sometimes is so inspiring!  As you know Meagan is getting married in March, and I fell head over heels with this eye shadow!

Love the shape of these bottles...and of course the colors are yummy!

OMG gorgeous....I had to have this...and in my shopping basket it went! Urban Decay is one of my favorites!

My affection for lip liner will never fade...I remember when plump lips "came into fashion" I was so excited because I never fit into the whole "All American" type of beauty with my over sized features.

such a cute compact!

These colors are so fun, reminds me of the 80's....and that I need a pedicure  :)

I want everything this company makes, I love the name of the brand, and the packaging is beautiful!

this sure beats cherry chapstick! Look at all of those decadent lip gloss flavors..not to mention the pretty shine! Put all of these on my must have list!

Super fab make up bags.... I confess I have several cosmetic bags, I have a real weakness for them!

I want to make a card like this....wouldn't that be magnificent?

We had a fun little shopping trip and we all spent way too much on hair products, but we plan to go back soon to indulge our cosmetic desires and maybe to borrow some ideas for a future crafty project too!

Happy Creating~

Flutter and Fly

I wish you could see this super blinged out card in person...whew is it ever sparkly! {and of course I love it!} I just had to squeak in a card using this weeks Mojo sketch....I really hate to miss a chance to create with those awesome sketches! No sewing on this card, but a touch of embossing, and a bit of distressing.

Love the posh stamp set from Teresa Collins, I have used it a ton already! The good day sunshine collection from my minds eye is so preppy yet still fun and I have nothing but scraps left...believe me I plan to use every little inch of it! {maybe a patchwork card is in the future}that would be fun!
I hope you are having a great summer, spending time with friends, family and Mr.Sunshine.....whatever you do today make sure to do something just for you!  Happy creating~
