I was asked to create a set of 25 recipe cards and shower invitations. The color was to be predominately Navy, and maybe a touch of green...not too fussy and clean simple lines. This is what I came up with! The papers are Amy Butler for K&Co. and are infused with grays, navy and greens...beautiful!
The invitation itself is simple, with a ribbon detail and a stack of bowls cut with the Cricut expression.
These adorable recipe cards were printed and can be found here and are by Jayme Sloan. I cut the recipe index shapes with the cricut and From My Kitchen cartridge. I added a grommet to each one of the cards so the guest can add the card once filled in to their gift package.Isn't that fun?
If you are planning a shower of any kind this is a great way to share menus, advice, or stories with a Bride to be or a Mom to be! Parties are always fun, and with a little planning you can take a plain old idea and make it something special! Happy Creating!
