Celebrate Your Day Cupcake!

Bright, Bold and Big on Wishes this cupcake card is sure to get the party started! I don't know about you, but I seriously need to get back on track when it comes to mailing out Birthday cards. I know if I have them on hand that is far more likely to happen, and I really do LOVE my friends and family so I really do want to let them know how much they mean to me!
This confection of stampy glittery goodness was inspired by the super cheerful papers from Pink Paislee called Soiree...isn't that fun? From there I water colored this cupcake stamp from TCP with SU markers and an aquapainter on heavy watercolor paper. More pompoms than may have been necessary...but you know me that's how I like it!!   :) *giggle*
I embossed the bottom layer with the happy birthday folder by provocraft in my cuttlebug, and the "rays" with the distressed stripes folder. My tip for covering large areas of paper with glitter is to use the terrifically tacky tape sheets {Love them} glue- no mess-no problem!!

You have to give this sketch a try, Shannon Tuebner did an awesome tutorial on making those rays...go check it out!      Happy Creating!
