Imagine That~ Let them have CAKE!!!

Today is all about CAKE!!! Tomorrow is both my Birthday and my two year anniversary of Inkingpink! I could not think of a better Imagine project than the theme of yummy cake! As you know I post a project using the cricut Imagine each Tuesday, some weeks its very educational and some weeks its just for inspirational ways to use your imagine cartridges. This is just a sweet post filled with a sugary confection of a card!

I added a bit of smooch pearlized top coat to accentuate the swags and polka dots on this triple layer cake printed and cut from the "yummy" art cartridge! I ordered it last week and it arrived while I was away at CHA...so it was like coming home to a Birthday gift! The "glass" dome was coated with crystal effects to give it a shine and the look of glass!

I am a frosting girl...its my biggest weakness ever! Nothing turns me into a willpower-less jellyfish like an inch of butter cream frosting!  *Swoon*
These photos were taken at Louie's bakery in LA
I was drawn into this pastel colored wonderland like a cartoon character floating on air! Such a beautiful place. A sight I will not soon forget!

Do you love seeing Imagine projects? If you do please let me know what other projects or techniques you want to see in this series!Just leave a comment below and I will try to fill your request! If you NEED more CAKE  {of course you do} head on over to Cindy Royals bakery of the day and check out this fun tag she whipped up for you!

Make sure to stop back in tomorrow for my Birthday/Anniversary celebration complete with presents for you to win!!!!!

It's the orginal (cheapest) one, but have used it quite a few times already and love it. I'm gonna have to get a Design software like Sure Cuts a Lot or something though so I cna do more with it. =)

Mmmm beautiful pictures of yummy treats! It seems to take so long to get all the layers sized with the Imagine, that I haven't played with it much. I'd love to see from beginning to end how to do an update....when new update is issued. Can't wait for the Crafting Room to open!! I'll use it more when I can weld & fit on mat where I want.

I don't have the Imagine, and decided against getting it. I enjoy looking at everyones work. And now you have me wanting a cupcake...
