Witch and Pumpkin Marci Layout

I just love Halloween, and what a perfect time to preserve all those wonderful trick or treat memories! My girls have dressed up as almost everything you can imagine including the all time favorite witch!
Witch and Pumpkin Marci are the guests of honor on this not so spooky layout!To see all of the cuties from La La Land carfts click here

Anytime you talk to a stamper, they usually don't scrapbook, or a scrapbooker does not stamp..but I'm here to tell ya' its all paper crafting! Go ahead.....broaden your horizons and add stamped imaged to your pages, its the most wonderful way to customize your layouts! These cuties are colored with prisma pencils and copic markers, and match the patterned paper to a "t"

Its no secret  {I LOVE pom poms} and I even added a little retro wire, I have had it so long its almost "in" again LOL..almost :)

How cute are these die cuts from K and CO Halloween collection?!! Love how quick and easy they are!

Espresso and Green DIno Baby

Whats big and green and as cute as can be? Its espresso the dinosaur! My daughters life long friend is having a baby boy, and she had a super cute dinosaur ensemble on her registry that instantly had me thinking of the create a critter cricut cartridge {say that 3 times fast} ....go ahead Its funny! If a dino was ever huggable this big guy is the one!

As always I layered and added dimension to my cricut cuts, I really love the thickness of all those layers! And yes I will pay the extra postage to mail them :) I figure its worth it to "WOW" the recipient!
You may recognize this paper from my minds eye, I have made a ton of projects with it! its so perfect for this color combo!

Did I hear you squeal? Are these the most stinkin' adorable little shoes ever? AAAACCCCKKKKK! I almost didn't want to part with them...don't know what I would do other than stare at them but oh they are precious! {Target} just in case you Need a pair!

As you can see I dint stop with just one outfit...I had to have it all! Can you believe how much this dino looks like the create a critter dino, crazy right?? Its a match made in heaven!

I made an over sized tag to tie to the package, its a fun way to give a little hint at what the wrapped box has in store. She loved it all, and didn't want to open it at first...but like all moms to be, the excitement of sweet little baby goodies hidden inside was too tempting!

Life is SWEET! Magnet board

I love to decorate everyday functional items to make them unique and extra special. This message board is bright and happy, and serves as a reminder that no matter how long the "to do" list is," life is SWEET"!

I added a second dry erase board to layer over the cosmo cricket delightful paper, I removed the board from its frame...a word of caution it was very sharp, and I recommend you cover all corners and edges with a layer of paper, especially if you put this in a child's room. Its a great way to have additional writing surface! The sticky notes serve as a quick shopping list, or to leave yourself {or kiddos} a quick note!

The title is cut with the cricut using straight from the nest cartridge, the original sentiment is life is tweet, I lopped off the "T" and added a big glittery "S" . The best thing about paper is that we can cut parts off and add what we want to personalize anything! I also embossed the words with the swirls folder, you all know how much I love texture!

What a bonus item this was! These three magnets came with the board, I just popped the stickers that came in the cosmo cricket kit, and they fit perfectly! {I never get that lucky}
This message center is in my daughters room in our summer cottage, but I think she needs one for school memos too! Any reason to create right???  :) So fire up your cricket, dust off you mod podge and make a magnet message center of your own, or get started on your Holiday gifts....yes its almost that time!

Happy Creating,

Stampcation Friday

Stampcation..it was fun for all!
My sweet friend Cyndra and yours truly sneaking a quick pose for the camera in between stamping time! It was so great to catch up with so many stamp buddies! {love ya' Cyndra} For more fab stampcation photos hop on over to my partner Linda Heller's blog for all the make and take projects!

This room was full of concentration as our shoebox swap was underway! 75 different cards in all, what a night! So much ingenuity papercrafters have, and freely share is the heart of stamping...don't you agree?

We stamped until around 11:00 and chatted the rest of the night away! Matt Heller our tech super hero set up all the audio visual equipment, and in general made us look and sound great! Thank you Matt!!!!!

The candy buffet we set up was a big hit...no surprise chocolate was a crowd favorite! A bitty refillable bucket was theirs to keep the whole weekend for endless sugar supply :)

How about a refreshing bottle of water as a sugar chaser? Of course we had to decorate those too *wink* if it can be enhanced with paper or embellishments, you better believe a paper crafter will do it!
 Stampcation was an absolute success for us, because of all of you! We enjoyed your company, your participation and your spirit of friendship! So thank you stampcationers for making our weekend the best it could be!!!!

Sparkle

Announcing........
 I'm the newest Guest Designer at La-La Lands crafts!!
I'm so excited to finally let the blog world know! Whew its hard for me to keep a secret, especially from all of you! I have another secret to reveal in a couple of weeks...but sorry Charlie That will have to Wait a little longer :)

Have you seen this cutie pa-tootie Ballerina Marci yet? Oh! she just captured my heart at first sight, is there any doubt? That precious face reminds me of my own little ballet dancers...long gone are those days of tutus and tights, but the memories are priceless. I "borrowed" my prisma pencils from my youngest to shade this sweet little princess in greens and pink {of course}

With a glittered tutu, and pearls in her hair Ballerina Marci is the sparkling star of the show.I had to smile at the memory of a fair haired four year old dressed as a pixie for Halloween complete with fairy dust and green slippers. {loved those days}  Be sure to visit La-La Land Crafts to see all of the Marci images available as stamps the 15th of September and as Digital for limited time only!
Happy Creating!
