Sugar Plum Fairy Ballerina Marci

For me Christmas means tradition, and one of the most amazing things about becoming a parent and having your own family is the ability to start your own traditions with your Children. Several years ago 11 to be exact I bought tickets to the nutcracker ballet, we have not missed a season since. My favorite part is when the snowflakes all dance with the sugar plum fairy and glittering "snow" falls its the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!
Ballerina Marci from lalaland crafts is my sugar plum fairy, she is water colored with markers and an aquapainter on watercolor paper. The frame and phrase were cut with my cricut using the deep cut blade, it cut through the thick watercolor paper like butter!

A coating of stickles along the bottom of her tutu adds even more sparkle!

I Love this pretty paper from imaginisce and remembered that I had these too cute gum drop stamps that went with the border paper from  cottage Christmas! Don't you love it when that happens?!!! A few dots of blue stickles look like falling snow....ahhh I can hear the music now :)

The Nutcracker is the best! I took Gina when she was small, and Terry's 80 year-old Grandma to see it, first time for them both. The looks on both their faces are a priceless memory for me...
