Love this card! I get so much inspiration but never enough time to use it all! My favorite halloween costume was when my son was 7 and dressed up as a pirate. He was just so adorable and had so much fun, he wanted to be a pirate again the next year.

My fave costume from trick-or-treating days is when I dressed as a Lipton Tea Bag. I created my tag from sting, text paper and cardboard. I took two trash bags and put some leaves from the yard in each. I had one bag on my front, the other on my back and stapled together over each shoulder. I carried the string with the large tag dangling in one hand.

Pick me! Pick me! This cartridge is on my wish list. The machine I won last May is on it's way...literally! Heidi from PC called on Tuesday to let me know it is being shipped :)

My favorite costume was a Raggedy Ann costume. I remember the plastic masks that we used to wear a long time ago, they covered your entire face and you couldn't see a thing. I'm glad they don't make those anymore! But it was my favorite one ever!

We (me and my family) don't celebrate Hallowe'en now, but when I was younger we did get dressed up and go out on Hallowe'en. I always had "offbeat" costumes, but I think the most offbeat costume I ever had was Jack and the Beanstock, but instead of me being Jack, I was actually the beanstalk! My mom took hours sewing tons and tons of green beans out of felt, which she then attached to my costume (the "stalk"), which was really just a long green fabric tube I wore over a green turtleneck and green pants. I don't think one person "got" my costume that year, but I loved it, and I still have the "Jack" doll she decorated and attached the the costume along with all the beans. She sewed him a little costume and everything!

Congrats on you 100K visits!! What a very nice thing to do to celebrate. I love Halloween and had lots of fun costumes, but my favorite wasn't one I wore. It was ones my twin daughters wore when they were 2 y/o...one was a Hershey Kiss and the other was a Hershey Hug. Sewing the velet ribbon on the entire costume was a chore but well worth it because they were adorable. For their 1st Halloween, one twin was dressed in a yellow lab costume, the other twin was dressed as a chocolate lab, and our beloved black lab was dressed as a baby. Happy Halloween.

BettyBee said...

Shantaie, this is such a fun post! I have enjoyed reading about everyone's favorite costumes. Mine was being a bird's nest! I wore a black turtleneck, pants, and a ski mask. I added a yellow visor that was cut into a beak and attached strips of brown paper bag to an elastic belt, which made the nest... I had socks stuffed to make the baby birds added to the nest, and I fed us all gummy worms!

Congratulations on your well-deserved blogging success! Onward to another happy 100K hits!

I love the Monster creation you made! He's really cute :) I have the companion folders, but no cartridge... we should get together and play sometime!

Oooooooh what love to win this one - my favorite Halloween costume was my mom being a dead fairy - it was absolutely the most fun I'd ever had, because my mom was participating with us, which she had never done before.

My favorite costume was one I put together for my daughter when she 5. We raided both our closets, using many of my scarves and jewlery, definitely the best dressed and colorful gypsy in the neighborhood. I guess even back then, I knew there was something special about "Gypsy".

I love how you added dimension to the card. everything just pops. Thanks for sharing!

Adorable card! Mini Monsters is on my wish list. Oh I would love it and have so much fun making little monsters for my grandkids.

When I was a little girl I remember dressing up as a cowgirl. Then the best part was being able to play in the costume for the rest of the year. Even the boys of the neighborhood would want to play with me because I looked like a cowgirl. My 'gun' was a cap-gun and was so much fun. WOW! this has brought back a lot of memories.

Thanks for the chance of winning. I REALLY would love this cartridge!

Fun prize! I love your blog. When I was little we had a box of old dress up clothes. Every year, my Mom had us dress as the same thing...gypsies! So when My kids were tiny, I went overboard making really elaborate costumes, like the dinosaur costumes that took weeks to make and only fit one year ( for a few hours of wearing!) I think my Mom was smarter!ha!

This mini monsters cart has peaked my interest every time I've seen someone design with it...looks like another 'must have' to add to my wish list, LOL! Thanks for the opp to win it...this is so exciting!

Halloween is such a fun holiday; it's really tough to choose just one costume as the best. My favorite costume was probably my Granddaughter's little Witch costume from when she was 2. My daughter also dressed up as a Witch, and the two of them looked absolutely ADORABLE together!

Well, I have to say my favorite costume was because of the little person in it rather than the costume itself! For his first Halloween last year, my grandson, Logan was dressed as a pirate.... with eye patch and all! He was only 10 months old and was the sweetest pirate ever!! I got a picture of him sent by his mommy to my cell phone! Talk about sweeeeeeeeet treat!

My favorite Halloween costume wasn’t mine but for my Grand Daughter. She went as a Vampiress last year and won the best costume trophy. With her natural dark hair, make-up and costume she made the most beautiful little Vampiress I had ever seen. She went into roll playing with a little coaching and Va Voom! She was so excited and proud of herself, that made Grandma’s heart so happy….!

I love the cards... it's so cute!! =)

This year my favorite costume was mine and the kids. We were SMORES... My oldest daughter and I were grahm crackers (cardboard covered with tan felt, drew the lines & little pits with a brown marker), her boyfriend was the hershey bar (cardboard covered with brown felt, the hershey's letters were cut out on the cricut using the street sign cartridge, and we put foil on the ends to make it look like the old hershey bars) and my youngest daughter was the marshmellow (dressed in white long sleeve shirt & pants with white pillows pinned around the front and the back to make it puffy). We were sooooo cute.

LOVE your adorable embossed monster!!
My Favorite Halloween costume is one that I made for my son about 5 years ago. He was a Wizard of Oz "Flying Monkey". His costume was made of light blue "fur" with a blue and red cape and hat. I had blue gloves and sewed fur on the top part, leaving the palm alone. His blue tail was positionable. He had brown feather wings. His mask was an ape mask that I found at the zoo. I painted the same shade of blue as his costume and sewed a fur piece to the back of the mask. I felt sorry for my son when it turned out to be 70 degrees on Halloween that year.
