Ice cream and Presents and cake, Oh My!

My darling Nephew just turned one, My how quickly time has gone! I can hardly believe he is walking talking and sneaking out of his crib already, he must get his sense of adventure from his Aunt :) I knew this favorite cupcake stamp {SU simple birthday thanks} would be darling paper pieced into a blue and green confection!

Brads fashioned into sprinkles are dotted across the cupcake "frosting" and a giant clear button adorned with my minds eye paper on the back is a fitting cherry on top! I have mixed up several patterns from Stampin up and My Minds Eye for a winning combination.

These pennants were cut with the new cricut cartridge country life,{You still have a chance to win this cartridge on Cindy Royals blog}  and sponged along the edges. I added the stickers with dimensionals, rubbing a bit of powder around the rest of the sticker to remove the chance of any sticky residue getting stuck to the pennant. The best ingredient in this sweet recipe is the sketch by Jana Eubank, and her fabulous sketch blog can be found here.

I Love working with Jana's sketches, she is very talented!

I love that cupcake! I do not own it, but I have sketched my own quite a few times and cut it out to make cupcake cards. Yours is very inspiring with all the fun and varied papers, pennants, ribbon, and Shantaie love :)
