i love your smile

Pennants are HOT! Everywhere you look they are a favorite element from paper crafts to parties. I love the idea of such a quaint decoration making such a strong comeback! This tall card is just as feminine as can be with sparkly swirls, flowers, and lace. Its a twist of Victorian and contemporary that I really love. I have marvelled at so many designers that can really pull off that style.I can honestly say that I don't have a specific style,  I so enjoy being a "Jill of all trades" so to speak.

Layers of scalloped circle cuts spritzed and scrunched make these wonderfully distressed flowers. To watch the tutorial click HERE . The leaves are actually petals from the cuttlebug petal dies and cut a little shorter to appear more like a leaf. The pennants were hand cut, but you can use the pennat from the nest cartridge as well

I cut a set of these swirls and layered them for more depth, I couldn't resist the urge to add a few silver pearls, after all you know me~ I never miss the chance to embellish! The background paper was scalloped with a border punch, and a pretty white floral rub on is just visible under the swirls. I love that I get to try new things, and have fun when I do.....I highly recommend it!
