Its lunch time kids!!! Back to school came all too soon if you ask me, but hey its yet another reason {excuse} to make some cute little notes from your favorite papers, stamps, and ribbons! I used the everyday cards cartridge to make these bitty slider cards. The sweet little container is one of the purses from forever young that was altered by cutting the top flaps off.
ETA the cartridge is "just because" cards...not everyday cards {oops}
Each note was embossed, and embellished to coordinate with the stamped image. The inner slider card is blank and just big enough for a message of cheer, or encouragement. No matter how old they get, a surprise note from Mom is a welcome sight! {Although they may not admit it} *wink*
The classic apple icon associated with school gets a french makeover on this olive and red note. My youngest is in french 2, so this is sure to be her favorite. All the sentiments were punched with the SU modern label punch, and lightly inked.
This is my favorite of the four notes, I just love chocolate and red together, and I have long called my daughter my star. so this will have a super special meaning to her, and I can just imaging the smile on her face when she finds this hiding under a turkey sandwich!!! hee hee!!
So if you find yourself looking for a weekend project, why not make a stack of lunch time love?
Happy creating,
