Small Wonders

Happy Wednesday, welcome back for another Be Inspired Challenge for cuttlebug challenge ,where we are 'dusting' off the jars of embossing powder to create fabulous techniques, like cracked glass. I admit this is my first time using this technique....I have always admired the way it turns out, just never got around to trying it :)

If you are not familiar with this technique, let me tell you its really easy. Cover your desired image or section with embossing ink, such as versamark, coat with ultra thick embossing powder, I used glassy glaze enamel from Stampin'Up!. Heat with embossing gun, while still warm and tacky coat with additional embossing powder, and heat, repeat as desired. Let dry and cool completely or if your in a big rush {like me} *wink* put it in the freezer. Simply bend and crack the image as much or as little as you like....its that easy!

Card details: 51/2 square base of confetti white, dusty durango, and yummy warm papers from cosmo cricket, the image is cut from cosmo cricket, all layers were stitched, and some embossed with the cuttlebug, I used the petals a plenty SU folder, and holly leaves. Eyelet border punch, nestabilities label, choc chip satin ribbon, and a sweet vintage looking paper clip....and a pearls :)

Head on over to Cuttlebug Challenge Blog to see the embossed inspirations the rest of the DT has to share with you. Happy creating!
