Remembering Brian

It is with great sadness that I share a sympathy card  with you today.
On this rainy and gray day, we will be saying goodbye to a very special 15 year old boy. He was hit by a car while riding his bike last Friday. My heart goes out to his family, I can not ever begin to understand their sorrow. A parent should never have to go through such a tragic loss.
I'm at a loss for words to describe just how fond my daughter was of this fun loving young man. She is devastated, for over 3 years no other boy has ever caught her attention. I'm beginning to understand why as I talk with those who knew him better than I did. He was a positive force on all that knew him, with a smile on his face every minute of the day. A regular class clown too :)

Please keep Chella in your thoughts tonight, as she says goodbye to her friend. This will be her first funeral and she has been taking this so hard. She is such a fragile, sensitive soul. Its so difficult to know how to help her. She is an incredible artist, and has been sketching out her feelings with paper and pencils, drawing for hours at a time silent and sad.I have cried so many tears for her.

His family has asked for donations to the boy scout troop in lieu of flowers, Chella will be making thank you cards to mail out to those families for making a donation in his honor. I hope it will help for her to be involved.

Brian Wentworth
You will be greatly missed.

If you would like to send a card to his family ,or a donation in his honor to troop 306
mail to:

Oh Chelsea, I'm so sad for you and Brian's family. It seems so unfair and wrong to have him taken so soon. I'm sure he loved you and your friendship you gave him thru the years. Keep the good times close to your heart while you heal. If you have pictures of Brian maybe you could make a scrapbook of memories... Love Linda

Chelsea Honey, Love/friendship never dies. Our human flesh is so fragile but our Spirit is eternal and strong. I know it hurts to loose someone you love. When we lost our 5 yr old neice to a drunk driver we planted a tree in her name and hung paper heart messages on the tree. Everytime I see the tree I smile, remembering her laughter. I cried for you, for his family, for your Mom,it hurts and it sucks and I send positive light energies to reach you all with warm embrace. Love, Aunt Betty

Words can't express how truly sorry I am for the loss of your dear friend. At this time my advise is to keep your eyes on the Lord and remember he will see you through this. Remember Brian will be with you always in your heart, no one can take that away from you. As he was a blessing to you, you are a blessing to all that know and love you. I know you probably don't remember me, but I do remember you and I do love you.

So very sorry to hear this story, what a horrible senseless loss! I will say some prayers for Chelsea for strength to get through this very trying time. Often there are no answers and we just have more questions.

(((Hugs))) to you and prayers going up for Brian's loved ones, family and friends.
