Putting All Your Eggs In One Basket

Wednesday is always an exciting day around here, its the day we get to share our projects for the be inspired cuttlebug challenge. This weeks challenge is to create a spring project incorporating flowers. How easy is that??? I know you are going to want to play along this week. How could you resist such a great challenge?

For my project I decided to make a few flower encrusted Easter eggs.  Easter is my absolute favorite holiday, the sweet pastel colors, the bunnies, and of course the eggs! My friends Toni and Linda helped me get past the  "not so sure I can make this work" hurdle!! Thanks girls....so glad I have you :)
This idea was floating in my head, and I knew I had been inspired somewhere along the way...and after searching, I found the artist that had planted the seed of a good idea in my creative garden! A beautiful blog called such pretty things check out her gorgeous pink, green and aqua color scheme throughout her blog, its wonderful.

These wooden eggs bejeweled with embossed flowers and pearls will last for years, they are so fabulous you may want to make them by the dozen! Now thats the way to put all of your eggs in one basket :)

supplies:
 large wooden or paper eggs
paint, flower punches
adhesive, shimmer paint in frost white, swiss dots folder
sticky back pearls

Happy creating,
