Gifts Of Spring

So many of you across the miles may not be seeing any signs of spring yet, but here in Florida we are enjoying mild temperatures, spring showers, and the blossoms of flowers to come. I so look forward to butterflies flitting about, and baby birds "peeping" their morning songs.
Easter is almost here,  I will be in 'all out Peter Cottontail mode' this week :) Check back everyday for a new Easter project, its not too late to put together a few last minute details.

I made 4 of these this morning, and it just took a few extra minutes to make multiples, if you use the assembly line method they go together pretty quick. If you have a cricut, cut out four 5" shadow eggs with the doodle charms cartridge. Then four of patterned paper at 4 3/4, then four at 4 1/2 on a blue paper.
For the card base, I scored a 4 1/4x5 1/2 white piece of card stock and hand cut 1/4 around my first egg layer, being careful to not cut too much off at the top where my score was so the card has a stable opening.
If you don't have a cricut, try a coloring book page.Or search for an egg template, and print in graduating sizes.

To get the speckled robbins egg blue, I used the color spritzer tool, and a close to cocoa marker, and a creamy caramel marker, you just load the marker into the chamber and squeeze!! Instant robbins egg speckled perfection :)
I truly am wishing you all the wonderful gifts of spring.
