Welcome back, are you ready for another Easter project? Today I'm sharing a card I made for the cuttlebug challenge blog using a scripture based stamp set by Our Daily Bread Designs. I knew the moment I saw this set I would make a card for my parents. Each year I send them a care package filled with easter goodies, I like to make it feel like a big Easter basket delivered by the Easter bunny himself :)
This card will be placed right on top, I know they will love it! I'm sure the traditional chocolate cross I always send, will take a back seat to this beauty!!!
This is a 5.5 square card with fleur de lis embossing, a bit of stitching, and inked edges. A few layers, die cuts and yummy soft velvet ribbon.
The tip on this card, to make the flowers punch with the SU boho blossoms punch {use the largest flower} clip each petal and curl the petals upward. place a rhinestone in the center and attach with a glue dot {I could never ever live without glue dots!!!} Its that simple to get a dimensional flower from a punch!
I'm off to the Post office, wish me luck!! :)
