Baby Cakes Easter Basket

Hello everyone, I have a fan-tabulous spring project for you!! Let me start by saying that Easter is my all time favorite holiday...I just melt at the sight of chocolate bunnies, pastel colored eggs, and Easter baskets are number one on my list. As a little girl, the most exciting day of the year was Easter morning, I knew I would find a plastic grass filled pink and white basket, complete with a stuffed animal, jelly beans and trinkets galore, perched on the kitchen table. I can still recall the aroma of mallow cream chicks!

I used the baby cakes template to create an updated basket of treats, this basket would make a wonderful gift for everyone on your list.I added a handle in place of the slider top, and used edible grass to nestle the sweet little Easter lambs. I must admit that these tiny Lindt chocolate lambs did not last long in our house, and are an endangered species at this point...these two better hide :)

I stamped these eggs one on solid card stock and one on DSP and cut them out. To add a touch of Easter fun I stamped the swirl from trendy trees on the solid egg and glittered with fine super nova orange.Couldn't you just squeeze the stuffing out of the fluffy lamb pez dispenser?? AAkkk its so cute!
So what do you think about this version of the baby cakes template? Its a basketful of sweetness!
