Its not too late to squeeze a few more Valentine projects in , and I will be sharing a new, fun and "do-able" Valentine project everyday this week. Today is all about the lunch box! These sweet little touches will brighten their day and warm their hearts!
This tiny Valentine is perfect for a lunch box message
For the card I used close to cocoa and real red, the Stampin'Up! hugs scallop panel is layered with sending love Designer series paper, and the hearts are stamped in coordinating colors with the I { heart} hearts stamp set.I {heart} this stamp set!! I tied a simple knot around the envelope because I think the ribbon makes it extra special.
A single heart stamped and cut out for the inside greeting..you want to keep it short and sweet, so they have plenty of time to bask in the lovey-dovey-ness of the rest of the lunch box!
To make the heart shaped Sandwich ,assemble sandwich and use metal heart cookie cutter or a knife to cut out shape.
Cut a piece of wax paper , overlap and fold paper to keep sandwich fresh, fold ends like a package.
and tie with a pretty ribbon.
This lunch box beauty defiantly says" I love you"
Apply sparkely gems to plastic cutlery and wrap in a soft paper napkin, its disposable so you don't have to worry about your good silver taking a dumpster dive, but so adorable they just may save it and use it again!
Wrap it all up and slip a small rubber band on your sparkley bundle, apply a die cut or heart sticker for a sure to be noticed by all the other kids at the table touch!! You will be "the best Mom ever" Oh yes you are going to get a big fat hug for this one!!
This is so easy and and can be used for so many occasions not just Valentines day! Get a treat bag {I keep these on hand at all times!} and place a Wilton extra large baking liner inside..{ you can use a small one} fill with chips, or pretzels, cookies etc. tie a short piece of ribbon and add the die cut heart on hemp twine! I have to tell you I LOVE how fast this little treatie-cuppie-baggie thing is, no one will ever know it was easy! You can pretend it was labor intensive after they go on and on about how great you are *giggle*
Make special Valentine memories for all the heartthrobs in your life with a little lunch box love this week!

so cute - what a fun fun idea - love all your elements
Wow! What a fantastic idea - I love the chips in the little cup cake wrapper. Thanks for sharing!
I must admit that I looked at your pictures and thought how cute this was but it wasn't until I read your article that I realized just HOW cute it was! AND simple!! I love each and every little touch you placed on this entire project; i.e., heart shape sandwich, sparkle on the cutlery, and cupcake wrapper. Just so stinking cute!!! TFS...
