When the Moon hits your eye.....

Like a big pizza pie, That's Amore'! Everybody sing....
Well I have to tell you how "jazzed" I am to show you my Cuttlebug Be inspired project this week! This weeks challenge is to make a vintage themed Valentine gift set, I had a very specific image to work with and was unsure how to pull it together. So in true paper crafter style........ {i played}  I love how it turned out, and can't wait to give it to my daughter and her boyfriend for heart day!

I lined the box with several patterned papers, to make it pretty. Its a medium size pizza box from my local pizzeria. The rest of the lyrics are inside the lid, as well as a few more crafty secrets images.

I started with a plain white flour sack towel, and added a 2" trim of classic red and white checks. I then embroidered the cutlery in red at the center of the towel, red is really so not her color but it IS the color of Valentines Day! I just adore the vintage feel of the project, mixed with the current attitude of  spending quality time with those that matter most. Some things never go out of style!

I added a very simple chalkboard to the set and a mini pizza box filled with chalk, I have had these teeny weeny spoon and fork charms in my stash for as long as I can remember. *Ahhh* dontcha' love it when you can finally put something that cute to good use!!

So when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie.....just go for it who knows what wonderful things might happen!

Be sure to take a stroll on over to cuttlebug Challenge blog and see what my "buggy" DT sisters have made in pure gorgeous vintage style!
