Plum Blossom gift

The Holidays are past us and we return to our regularly scheduled program at Cuttlebug Challenge blog . This week our challenge is to use white as the dominant color. We have a couple of new DT members so be sure to check out their inspiring work!

I used the plum blossom folder to emboss the box panels. I punched out lots of little flowers and attached them in a random pattern.I then place a pearl in the center of each one! they're are over 60 flowers on this box, the overall effect is pure luxury. *scrumptious*

I cut out flowers in both white and a plum color core'dinations card stock. Inked the edges, and snipped the petals to the center. use your fingertips to curl and shape flowers, use lots of layers to create 3D flowers. This is an easy way to get serious wow factor.

I broke in my new cricut to cut these scallops in two sizes, 1' and 1 1/4" the smaller of the two is embossed with the Japanese scales folder. OK so I'm pretty sure I will be using the cricut a lot, I will take any advice you have to offer a newbie!

Attach flowers with large pop up glue dots, I used 3 leaves cut from sage shadow and placed them behind the flowers. This gift box is 6x6 and is pretty enough to be the gift its self.
I was inspired by a square cake, with gorgeous sugar flowers, I'm in such awe of the talent cake decorators posses. I may never be a pastry chef, so I will keep playing with paper and fabric to make a calorie free version that is almost as sweet.
Happy creating!
