Pink Softness

I'm sharing a quick sneak peek of one of my projects I made for CHA to be displayed for the Cuttlebug Challenge blog. Its a very simple and sweet Mothers Day card, that really showcases the embossing. This is bar none the fastest card I have ever made!
Each Thursday the "hen house crafters" wrap me up in the warmth and love that only friendship can, no matter what is going on in my world I know with absolute certainty that they will be there for me. Today I didn't feel much like creating , so I watched in a trance while Linnea worked her crochet hook.My grandmother was an expert and tried many times to teach me, I loved to watch her animated fingers as fast as lightning. {Not.a gift I posess} LOL

The soft pink fibers soothed away all my stress and I found myself mesmerized by the beauty of the transformation of a pink ball of yarn into something real and useful.

Linnea's quiet personality belies her artistic and creative spirit, she is funky and hip despite her mild mannered exterior, one of the many things I love about her.

This sweet tiny beret was made while we chatted, and waited for lunch to be served.Today was just what I needed refreshing, relaxing and fun. Thanks girls!

Great photos of Linnea's it! She is indeed so talented to make things like this with no pattern--she amazes me! We do have a GREAT time on Thurs. with the henhouse crafters; we laugh, we talk (a LOT), we cry, and sometimes we even get some crafting done...LOL!
