The party kicked off over on the cuttlebug challenge blog with a map of the participating design team members, if you get lost...no worries just check off the DT members on the map as you go.
In addition to the fabulous projects , we have decided to make this party even more fun by hiding two treasures along our walk in the park blog hop! Two selected designers will draw a random winner from the comments left on her blog during the hop. Of course it wouldn't be a treasure hunt if you knew which designer is hiding the treasure...so don't miss anyone on the map!
The winner will receive $30 gift certificate to peachy keen stamps, and a one year subscription to technique junkie by our generous sponsor Pat Huntoon.
As you hop, be sure to leave comments on every post for a chance to win, and the more comments you leave the better your chances to win!
Shantaies Paper Lantern

For the festival of lights, I have created a warm and inviting paper lantern. The beaded edge is so pretty and a surprising element on the rice paper lantern. This green and gold color combination is a time honored classic, but the shape is simple and modern.
I sprayed the paper with glimmer mist to give the lantern even more shimmer. The snowflakes are cut in gold paper and the addition of a tiny squeeze of stickles in the center of each delicate shape is as pretty in the daylight as the lantern is as night.

Be sure to visit the rest of the team, and behold the festival of light!
