Thank You So Much Rena

I'm so happy to be back home in Florida, I missed my house, my friends, my craft room, and my daughter dearly missed her cat "Friday" {we adopted him on a sunday}. Our wonderful and beyond sweet neighbor took care of our outdoor loving kitty all summer for us, I'm so grateful to her and have no way to repay the debt properly. The best I can do is a generously funded gift card for Rena and her sister to visit their favorite restaurant, and this pretty 51/2 square card to place it in. My inspiration was fueled by today's color challenge at splitcoast stampers {chocolate, kraft,&real red} I love chocolate and kraft...so this got my stalled mojo going! I adore the baroque background stamp and made that my jumping off point, I used a strip of red and chocolate cut with the eyelet border punch from Stampin'Up!(15.95) a bit of ribbon tied with linen thread, and decorated with a pearl head pin and pearl beads.
What did we ever do before die cuts?? I love the way the sizzix little leaves, and scribble swirl look paired together behind my sentiment...on yet another die cut from Stampin'Up!s' "lots of tags" It doesn't really show up so well in the photo but I used a Sakura gold gel pen to add dots along the edge of the kraft oval.
Thanks so much for visiting my little corner of the blog world today, I hope you were inspired or amused enough to visit again!
