OCC Challenge -Mothers Day

This week at Our creative corner the challenge is to make something for Mothers Day. I have made a spa gift set and cards for each lovely lady in my craft group..the Hen House Crafters. We get together every Thursday for lunch, laughter and sometimes we actually get projects done! My cards feature this bathing beauty from Stampin'Ups! Bubble queen. I used liquid applique for most of my frothy bubbles, but a few special bubbles are pearls. I'm really loving water coloring and I could easily become addicted to coloring. :0 You already know that I'm a cuttlebug "queen" and this card did not escape some embossing.

Here are the spa gift boxes I made for the girls, I used the 18x18 patterned paper from Martha Stewart to line the boxes and adorn the outside as well, I have to admit these took a WHILE longer than I expected but they are darling, and I know no one will mind if the floors don't get mopped *wink*

Each gift box has an assortment of candles, chocolates, and bath products for a private 20 min. escape just add relaxing music and a steamy romance novel and they are all set!

Great card! I love how you mixed the liquid applique and pearls for bubbles. The spa sets are fantastic too!
