Cuttlebug Be Inspired # 29 Mothers Day

Its hard to believe that Mothers Day is just around the corner, I remember my Mom telling me that the older you get the faster time goes by...she was right...about that and so many other things. This weeks challenge at cuttlebug challenge is to make a Mothers Day card and envelope. I made this for my darling sister in law who is married to my baby brother and they are expecting their first baby in August. Its rather hard to see in the photo but I ran the chipboard through the cuttlebug embossing folder the effect is subtle but definitely textured to the touch. I also embossed the flap of the envelope its so elegant and rich looking!
These satin covered buttons are from a wedding gown I altered for a friend years ago, I'm happy I kept them they look right at home on the chipboard "M"
How its made:
paper~ pink pirouette, old olive, whisper white, raspberry tart DSP
ink~ rose red
accessories~ chipboard m, satin buttons, raspberry ribbon, hemp twine, cuttlebug embossing folder, glue dots, scallop border punch
