Cuttlebug Be Inspired #27 Tax Time and Numbers

I'm happy to be back from Louisville it was a long week being away from home ...and my stamps ;) I did manage to squeak in this card for the cuttlebug challenge. The idea of a clock kind of stuck with me, its not exactly the end result I envisioned but I'm happy with it.My clock face has movable hands cut out from a cuttlebug die fastened with a rhinestone brad and a coiled paper clip it reminded me of a watch spring { yes I had the see through swatch watch} yikes I'm showing my age! This card is a 51/2 square with raspberry tart DSP embossed with the numbers folder and the raised areas were chalked with black to define the numbers, lots of stitching around the clock face in a random pattern for fun. The photo corner was punched from a credit card bill and sponged with gray{ my ode to taxes} The numbers were embossed in silver I wanted them to not look too perfect.

I'm so glad you "squeaked" in a card this week Shantaie! This one is really fabulous...the stitching around the clock face, the numbers embossed in silver, the double bows along the border. Wow! But my absolute favorite is the circle paperclip in the center! We must be about the same age because I had a Swatch, too! :)

Wow Shantaie, this is fab! I love it! The clock face is great, especially with all of the stitching, the embossing is gorgeous, and such a lovely sentiment too! And a perfect nod to the numbers theme with your photo corner, lol! Inspired! So glad you managed to squeeze this one in this week at http://cuttlebugchallenge.blogspot.com!
