Bronzed Bella Bird

What fun it is to try new things, and to be able to share the things you learn along the way is such a joy for me. The daily and weekly challenges on so many websites and blogs are inspiring and informative. I truly look forward to them. Today's sketch is from SCS the block style layout is quite versatile and seemed to work well for the "elegant" mood I'm in today. I started with bella birds DSP from stampin'Up!{big surprise} I stamped the flourish from friends 24/7 in perfect medium from ranger arts and brushed on pearl ex in bronze it is very shimmery and romantic.
I also stamped the bird once in cocoa, and once with the pearl ex treatment, cut out the body and put him up on dimensionals. You can see here just how much he glistens in the light. I wanted my main image to look like a frame so I dug through my box of treasures and found this old idea where it came from! The fringe trim is from a long forgotten sewing project and is my favorite element on this card *I know extra postage * but its worth it!!
