Velvet Glitter

This was a brand new technique for me and its super cool. Its not for glitter-phobic stampers I must warn you. It is however pretty easy..really it is!! The tutorial on the cuttlebug challenge blog offers a step by step lesson on this technique, check it out. I decided to try a fun color combo of pacific point, and a coppery orange glitter..kind of reminds me of Gator colors, maybe I should send this to my cousin a BIG and loyal Ohio state fan (insert evil giggle here). Don't worry Jeanette I'm just kidding.
I colored my stamp from zoofari with SU markers and stamped on whisper white card stock. I cut the squares with my cuttlebug die using only orange and DSP.
You would think glitter would be enough bling for this girly girl...but no way! I upped the shine factor with square ice brads in blue.I have gone through a few containers of the rhinestone brads..but its not a problem ..I can stop anytime I want...I just don't want to!! Don't you just love this funky long legged card?
