Loads Of Thanks!

My friend Clarissa is due to have a baby boy, so I made a stack of Thank you cards. That will make it easy for her to have them on hand for a quick note to her shower guests. My inspiration was this card by Tracy Gray. The loads of Love set from StampinUp! is so versitle! If you have it and dont use it, dust it off and get stamping! If you dont have it trust me you want it
I used watercolor paper, and my aqua painters to color in all the images, I kept my colors soft in contrast to the bold dot patterened paper, and Basic gray cardstock.
I diped my blender pen in perfect medium to color my hubcaps and babyfood lids, then brushed on pearl effects for shimmer. Its fairly subltle but does give a metalic look, which is what I was going for. Of course I could have added silver embossing powder for a stronger metal look.

Now You know I couldn't make a baby gift without some embroiderd matching accesories!
This was adapted to match with my truck, although the color isn't quite baja blue, but close enough! I made the card first and then scoured through my designs to find a truck..and woo hoo!

I even have gray and blue polka dot wrapping paper that was already in my stash to wrap it with! I love it when it looks like I had a plan all along...even if I didn't. loads of love,
