Cuttlebug Be Inspired #21 watercoloring

I'm still learning the infinite number of ways to watercolor, I have discovered a few ways NOT to color. For example I did not have much luck with stazon on glossy paper...and when I say not much luck I mean total failure :) I found out that plain white card stock and aqua painters don't get along very well. If you have had luck with those methods I would love to hear from you!

This is my ALL TIME favorite Easter stamp set from Stampin Up! I will never ever let it go.

I combined kraft, eggplant, and baja blue for my card base and used my oh so pretty paisley embossing folder. After the above mentioned disasters I pulled out the water color paper...should have done that in the first place!! The postage stamp die was cut out with so saffron and the edges inked with chocolate chip. A little paper piercing using my handy dandy mat pack, & a trio of brads on the photo corner. I used my water color crayons they are like magic!! My aqua painter has gotten a good work out latley.
